Family Fun in Boston, March 4th

On a cold and blustery day, 36 graduates and their family members from the WPSNE descended upon the LEGO Discovery Center in Somerville, Massachusetts to spend time together and entertain their children and grandchildren.   We had broad participation with classes that ranged from the class of 1966 through to the class of 2007.  The event occurred on the 4th of March and a good time was had by all.   The day started in a special party room with a lunch of pizza, juice and water, followed by cupcakes.  Each child received a bag of legos to make a toy car or animal that they could take home with them and then they could enjoy the discovery center and all of the rides for the rest of the day.  The laser ride where you shoot at targets from from a carnival ride was popular with adults and kids alike!   The WPSNE pretty much closed down the discovery center by staying all day making new friends and connections that were forged by the kids.  Most participants were asking when the next event was by the end of the day!
